CCAD is committed to helping students become effective, self-motivated learners. The office of Disability & Access Services provides reasonable accommodations for cognitive, psychological, or physical/medical disabilities.

Disability accommodation support

The office of Disability & Access Services assists in coordinating appropriate and reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities. Disclosing a disability is voluntary, however, to be considered for reasonable accommodations for a cognitive, psychological, or physical/medical disability, current students must self-identify as having a disability and provide appropriate documentation. To initiate the process, students should contact Disability & Access Services and review the following resources for information on documentation requirements and frequently asked questions. Writing, Math, & Art History Center

At the the Writing, Math, and Art History Center, our writing consultants help students with technical writing skills, writing cohesion, and overall quality of writing assignments, always focusing as much on the writer as much as the individual piece of writing. Our math consultants work with students to better understand their Quantitative Literacy and Business Math concepts and assignments in real time. Our Art History consultants help with understanding course content, visual literacy, and its applicability to papers, tests, and projects. All of our consultants are faculty at CCAD and professionals in their field.

The Writing, Math, and Art History Center conducts appointments remotely via Google Meet video and Google docs. Sign up for appointments here. Our team of expert consultants is available for in-person (in the Group Study Room at the Packard Library) and online / video meetings (on Google Meet) this semester.

Appointments begin the second week of the semester and end on the final day of the semester in both Fall and Spring semesters.
