HIGH FIVE TO OUR STUDENT LEADERSHIP AWARD WINNERS
Last Friday, Student Affairs hosted the 8th annual Student Leadership Banquet at the Columbus Museum of Art, where we celebrated the achievements of students who go above and beyond by serving in leadership roles on campus. We’re fortunate to have 21 active student organizations, and the students who find time to lead these organizations while balancing school and other commitments are truly inspirational. To them we say thank you, and to Friday’s winners we say, congratulations!

HUMAN RIGHTS AND ART CONVERGE AT THIS FREESUNDAY MOVIE EVENT
The library is hosting a screening of the film Human Flow by Ai Weiwei in the Canzani Center Screening Room on Sunday, April 29, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Following the film will be a livestream Q&A with the artist. The event is free and open to the public.
Captured over the course of an eventful year in 23 countries, the film follows a chain of urgent human stories that stretches across the globe in countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, France, Greece, Germany, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, and Turkey.
Human Flow is a witness to its subjects and their desperate search for safety, shelter and justice: from teeming refugee camps to perilous ocean crossings to barbed wire borders; from dislocation and disillusionment to courage, endurance and adaptation; from the haunting lure of lives left behind to the unknown potential of the future.
