Favorite CCAD story: This actually happened the summer before my senior year of high school -- I was working at Chautauqua Institution (a sort of educational resort near my hometown) at the ice cream stand, when I struck up a conversation with a wonderful woman while I was scooping her cone. She asked me my age and if I had any college plans, and I told her that I was in love with art.

This really excited her. She told me that her husband was the president of an art school in Ohio, and she promptly pulled none other than Denny Griffith over to meet me and give me his card. I had no idea that my minimum wage summer job would be so formative in my chosen career path, but Denny and Beth were so wonderful to talk to that it's no wonder I chose CCAD in the end!
