Hope you had a wonderful spring break! Now, for some announcements.

 

This is not a joke

Saturday, April 1, may be April Fool's Day. But it's also the CCAD Art Fair and the grand opening of Ampersand Emporium (where you can save 10% on non-food items by showing your CCAD ID). Read more about the Art Fair here and the grand opening here.

 

Sign up for classes

We're looking at you, sophomores. Your pre-registration starts TODAY! Everyone else, see your pre-registration date here.

 

Drop deadline

The last day to drop or withdraw without failure is Friday, March 31. 

 

Vote early, vote often

We know our teachers are excellent, and this spring, we’ll be recognizing them with the Teaching Excellence Award. If you know a teacher at CCAD who is making a big impact on students inside and outside of the classroom, consider nominating them for award recognition. Nominations will be accepted through Saturday, April 1. Find the nomination form here.

 

UOKCCAD? 

Next week (starting April 3) is UOKCCAD? Sexual Violence Awareness, Prevention, and Empowerment Week. Programming is focused on raising awareness about healthy sexuality, learning how to prevent sexual violence, and empowering survivors on-campus and everywhere. Programming includes UOKCCAD? We Really Want to Know: Title IX Forum, The Clothesline Project, and UOKCCAD? Mural Wall.

That stands forGet in Touch with Freedom Outdoors. And it's happening Friday, April 21. Spend the day outdoors and off-campus to break free from confined spaces, routines, and stress! Counseling & Wellness Center staff will lead a 2.3 mile hike, mindfulness- and meditation-based activities, and writing reflection time at Battelle Darby Creek Park. Read more here. Your moment of zen

The CCAD Yoga class is moving back to the second floor Canzani Multipurpose Room for the rest of the semester, starting today. Haven’t tried yoga at CCAD yet? Dropin Monday nights at 7 p.m. and feel the de-stressing power of yoga as we head into the final half of spring semester. No mats, money, or experience necessary – just flexible clothes and yourself as you are.
