Changes to preferred name, gender identity

CCAD recognizes that students may prefer to be addressed by a name other than their legal name for a variety of reasons. You might think of a preferred name as the name you are called in day-to-day life.

As of Sunday, Oct. 1, you can change your preferred first name on certain college-related records or documents. While there’s no single-step process to change your preferred name across all of our systems, you can click here to learn how to update your name and identify your gender identity within systems such as Self Service, Go Studio, and Go Mail.
