Plan on it

Get your schedule in line — pick up a CCAD student planner at the Student Affairs office in Crane. Find a PDF version of the student handbook here.

Time for an upgrade

Due to recent upgrades to the student information system (Self Service), we’ll be rolling out new options for you to identify your preferred name and gender identity here at CCAD. You’ll be able to identify a preferred name on Self Service and Go Studio and have that name be viewable on some school documents and records, such as class rosters and student ID cards. (Other items, such as your email address and transcript, will remain the same as before.) Changes will officially take effect on Sunday, Oct. 1. More information will be provided in upcoming communications and on my.ccad.edu.

Get thrifty & restock the pantry

The CCAD Thrift Store, located at 76 N. Grant Ave., is open Thursdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to noon when classes are in session. Sale proceeds benefit the Student Thrive Fund, an emergency relief fund for students.

Speaking of which ... It’s time again to restock the CCAD Thrift Store food pantry for students in need. Have non-perishables to give? There will be bins around campus collecting donations from Monday, Sept. 18, through Friday, Sept. 22. Questions on donating non-perishable food or volunteering at the CCAD Thrift Store? Contact Taylor Watkins at [email protected].

Live on campus

Are you still looking for a place to live for this school year? Tired of commuting or couchsurfing? On-campus residences are available —  but space is limited, so don't delay! Find applications and information on the Residence Life page.
