Join CCAD and contemporary artist and designer Shantell Martin for "Life In Lines," a virtual lecture that comes as part of CCAD's Visiting Artists & Scholars Series. Martin will discuss how creativity and drawing can expand life experience. A British artist with a unique style and notable presence in the contemporary art world, Martin’s mastery of the spontaneous drawn line has captivated an audience of international patrons, admirers, and collectors. Her art is exhibited and sought after by many top museums, galleries, and art spaces, including the Whitney Museum Shop in New York City; the Oculus, World Trade Center, NYC; Governor's Island, NYC; and the Denver Museum of Art in Colorado. Martin's work includes a collaboration with Pulitzer-Prize winning musician Kendrick Lamar, and she has worked with such brands as Google Creative Labs, Adidas, and Nike.
