What is Real? Ohio Representational Art Collective Inaugural Exhibition

Beeler Gallery Project Space plays host to What is Real?, the inaugural exhibition of work by members of the Ohio Representational Art Collective on view Thursday, April 4–Saturday, April 27, with an opening reception 5–7 p.m. Thursday, April 4.

The Ohio Representational Art Collective is a group of Ohio-based artists who practice their arts in the style and tradition of realism, and What is Real? was co-curated by two collective members: CCAD Photography Professor Hiroshi Hayakawa and Miriam Baranov. The exhibition, which features works by 12 of the collective’s members, focuses specifically on the human figures and portraits and showcases a variety of mediums and approaches to the work. The artists featured in this show are masters of their crafts, possessing impressive skills, unique concepts, and sophisticated execution.

Three workshops will be held in conjunction with What is Real? The workshops are free, open to the public, and will be held in Design Studios on Broad in DSB212. They are:
