Arts Vendor Support Grants Program

Dear students,

This semester, we are pleased to return the Arts Vendor Support Grant program, designed to assist current CCAD students interested in participating as vendors in community arts festivals, fairs, and other art sale opportunities beyond CCAD. This program, which we launched in January 2023, aims to provide support to students seeking opportunities to sell their artwork. We are committed to empowering students to pursue professional practice experiences both on and off campus.

Arts Vendor Support Grants may be used to reimburse application and vendor fees up to a maximum of $150 associated with participation in a public art sale event. Currently enrolled students in good academic standing (2.0 or above cumulative GPA) are eligible to apply for a grant. Grants are administered by the Career Services & Partnerships Office and are currently available for events taking place between April 1, 2024 and September 2, 2024.

Any student interested in applying for a grant must submit a request via the Arts Vendor Support Grant request form and confirm their intention to participate in a community art sale event by sharing their application materials. Career Services & Partnerships will follow-up to confirm whether the student has been pre-approved and will share the amount eligible for reimbursement. Please review the Arts Vendor Support Grant Program guidelines for full details prior to applying.

You can check out art sale opportunities in our community, including upcoming events in Columbus, Westerville, Worthington, and Upper Arlington, in Zapplication  (just use the search filters to look at events in Ohio). Many festivals have very early deadlines for events in the summer months - so plan ahead! The event doesn't need to be listed in Zapplication- you can find events on your own. Any art sale event may qualify: festivals, conventions, art sales, community events, art walks- these types of vendor opportunities exist in lots of forms out in the community.

Some events we funded last year include: Craftin Outlaws, FanExpo, German Village Maker's Market, Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival, Summer Jam West (Hilltop), Westerville Art Hop and Yellow Springs Street Fair.

If you have questions about available grant funding, the application process, or art sale opportunities in our community, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly or Career Services & Partnerships at [email protected].
