Jerry Saltz at CMA

Pulitzer Prize-winning art critic Jerry Saltz visits the Columbus Museum of Art on Thursday, Dec. 8, and you can be there! CMA is offering discount tickets at the member rate ($15) to CCAD students and employees.

Saltz, senior art critic at New York Magazine, frequently lectures about the contemporary art world. Saltz's latest book, Art is Life: Icons & Iconoclasts, Visionaries & Vigilantes, & Flashes of Hope in the Night, will be available for purchase in the CMA store. The talk begins at 6:30 p.m.; a book signing with Saltz is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Be a Good Neighbor

Be a Good Neighbor, an exhibition about the transnational power of Latin American art in the US in the 1930s and the 1940s. Exhibition created in collaboration with Julia Fernandez, assistant professor of Art History & Visual Culture and co-sponsored with the Art History and Visual Culture Department.

LA Woman: Kali, Artographer

Columbus Museum of Art will present LA Woman: Kali, Artographer, the first museum exhibition of the work of Kali, a recently discovered photographer from the 1960s. On view through March 12, 2023, this show features more than 50 vintage and contemporary prints by the artist.

The exhibition is organized by the Columbus Museum of Art in collaboration with the artist’s estate. This exhibition is supported by the Columbus Museum of Art’s William and Sarah Ross Soter Endowment for Photography.

The intersection between cinema and culinary arts is a vital part of Miami’s cultural landscape. We are excited to share Miami Film Festival's brand-new film competition in collaboration with Goya Foods!

The Goya Quick Bites Competition will offer a $2,500 cash prize to a jury-selected short film that features a strong focus on food, culture, mealtimes, or the way the culinary experience spices up our daily lives.
