Free tickets for students to BATTLE Columbus

BATTLE COLUMBUS is a battle of the bands event in Columbus, Ohio featuring three cover bands who will each compete for the chance to win a $5,000 grand prize. We’re excited to have high-energy performances of party hits from the 80s, 90’s and 2000s. General Admission offers two (2) drink tickets and access to the floor (standing room only), and VIP members will have access to the entire multi-level venue which includes an open bar, food, and seating on the second level. Surface lots and parking garages are just steps away for guests’ convenience. Doors open at 7pm, and the show begins at 8pm.  

You must be 21+ to attend.

This event benefits The Childhood League Center, a non-profit organization that serves children from birth to five who have developmental delays or are at risk.

Thurber House events this spring

CCAD's Discovery District neighbor Thurber House, a non-profit literary arts center and museum on Jefferson Avenue, will host several book and film events of interest this spring.

They include:

Sunday, April 7Athlete, Olympic Medalist, & Bestselling Author Ronda Rousey discusses her new book Our Fight in Canzani Auditorium. Tickets are $49 with a copy of the book, or $35 without.

April 24 Paul Laurence Dunbar: Beyond the Mask, a free film screening at Thurber Center, 91 Jefferson Ave.

April 29The 23rd Thurber Prize for American Humor Book Club, free and held via Zoom
