Jeremy Stoll (he/they) is a queer comics creator and scholar whose research focuses on comics in / of India. He has a BA in Creative Writing & Fine Arts from University of Michigan and a PhD in Folklore from Indiana University. Stoll's articles have appeared in the International Journal of Comic Art; Marg, A Magazine of the Arts; Cultures of Comics Work; and the Routledge Companion to Comics. His most recent publications include The Comics World: Comics, Graphic Novels, & Their Publics, with Benjamin Woo, and the blogpost / presentation Re-Worlding Comics: A Call for Reflexive Scholars, as part of the International Comic Arts Forum 2021. He is committed to his storytelling practice as an editor, writer, and illustrator, with pieces in Rainbow Reflections: Body Image Comics by Queer Men, The Columbus Scribbler, Blocked: Stories from the World of Online Dating, and DOGS! An Anthology (co-edited with Vidyun Sabhaney).
