Alum at heart of flu prevention campaign
As Art Director at Hawkeye Agency, Erin Harvey (Advertising & Graphic Design, 2014) handles a lot of big projects. But recently, she worked with colleague Julie Tepe that made her especially fulfilled: an American Heart Association campaign supporting influenza vaccinations.
“It’s work that we are both extremely proud of because the work that we typically do is not life or death, but this one makes the difference,” Harvey says.
This season, which coincides with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, getting a flu vaccine is more important than ever. Harvey and her agency colleagues created the concept “Saving lives is the point of prevention” for the Heart Association. The campaign assets they created can be used by anyone wishing to spread the word regarding flu vaccinations, which are key for all people, but especially those with heart disease, diabetes, and lung disease.
