Alumni chalk up the cover of 614 Magazine

Fine Arts alumni Clint Davidson (CCAD 2000) and Bobby Silver (CCAD 1999), and Advertising & Graphic Design alumnus Paul Giovis (CCAD 2012) worked on 614 magazine’s 2013 ColumBest cover.

The May cover featured Jeni Britton Bauer of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams standing in front of a chalkboard elaborately sketched with images ranging from ice cream cones to burgers to wine glasses to a shirt and tie.

The magazine initially hired Silver, a co-owner of Yellow Brick Pizza who is known for his artwork that illustrates their specialty pizzas. Silver brought a few fellow alumni with him for assistance in covering the 8-foot by 9-foot wall.
