Illustration alumnus Ron Miller (CCAD 1970) started off 2011 in a big way, landing design work with four major science magazines in addition to his other projects.

“Since the first of this year, I've provided cover and interior art for Astronomy, Sky & Telescope, Scientific American and Geo magazines,” Miller said. “My work is also featured in two interactive sites sponsored by Scientific American.”

“I've done the cover for a new science fiction novel as well as having completed writing and illustrating three new YA books for Lerner Publishing. I will be starting work shortly on a coffee table art book for Farrar, Strauss & Giroux.”

Miller is an illustrator and author, specializing in science, astronomy, science fiction, and fantasy. In addition to providing artwork for many magazine and book publishers, he has authored, co-authored or edited more than 50 books, including several novels. He’s also designed postage stamps and worked on motion pictures as a production designer and special effects artist.
