Alumnus has solo show in Indiana

Chris Cosnowski's "Vroom Vroom"

Illustration alumnus Chris Cosnowski (CCAD 1992) has a solo exhibition at the South Shore Arts Gallery at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Munster, IN, through Sept. 2.

The exhibition, SUPER-ficial! A Chris Cosnowski Retrospective, features Cosnowksi's photo-realist paintings.

"Trophies and plastic figures make up the primary subject matter in my work," Cosnowksi said in an article. "These cast, monochromatic figurines are reminiscent of classical sculptures, as well as being quintessential objects of Americana."

Cosnowski is from Xenia, OH, and attended Beavercreek High School.
