Alumnus helps with global anti-drug message
A little patch with a big message designed by a CCAD alumnus is going on the uniforms of Little League baseball and softball players worldwide.
“Get on Base, Not on Drugs” is the message about to be stitched on the uniforms of Little League players throughout the world after Brent Woodard (CCAD 2000) fielded the assignment to help educate youth about anti-drug efforts in Southern Ohio.
Woodard’s The Rock Cries Out Studios is in Lucasville, OH, where the artist lives with his family.
Woodard, who majored in Illustration, initially collaborated with former Major League Baseball player Al Oliver, Frank Thompson of the Scioto Prescription Drug Task Force Action Team, and District 11 Little League Administrator Don Rawlins. Their local anti-drug efforts soon grew to include Little League players around the globe.
