Alumnus looks through windows and doors for exhibition
An exhibition of new works by illustrator James Elston (CCAD, '94) titled Through Windows and Doors opens Saturday, Oct. 2 in Johnstown, PA.
The exhibit is a visual journey of the past seven years as the artist worked as an animator at Walt Disney Feature Animation Studio in Florida and then returned to Pennsylvania as a full-time freelance illustrator. His film credits include The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan, Tarzan, The Emperor’s New Groove and Lilo and Stitch.
An opening reception will be 6–8 p.m. on Oct. 2 at the Bottle Works Ethnic Arts Center, 411 Third Ave. in the Cambria City section of Johnstown. The exhibit is on display through Nov. 2, 2010.
