Fine Arts alumnus Clint Davidson (CCAD 2000) finished painting a mural that was unveiled July 14 in honor of Glen Echo Park's 100th birthday in Columbus, Ohio.

The mural, which features birds native to the area, was funded by a grant from the Chase 200Columbus Neighborhood Grant Program. The project also received donations through online fundraising.

"The neighborhood's been very positive and supportive," said Davidson in an online This Week article. "Some people come by every day and take some kind of process shots. That makes me happy as an artist."

The daylong celebration at Glen Echo Park was hosted by the Lower Olentangy Urban Arboretum, Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed, Friends of the Ravines, and ALTernative.
