Alumnus returns from Hong Kong, presents at CSCA

Advertising & Graphic Design alumnus Michael Lai (CCAD 2004) will present as a special guest for the Columbus Society of Communicating Arts (CSCA), Aug. 2 at the Arena Grand Theatre, Columbus, OH.

For the presentation, Lai will share his thoughts on the changes occurring in design throughout China and Asia.

Following graduation from CCAD, Lai worked as a senior designer at the Columbus-based branding agency Ologie. He also worked as an adjunct professor at CCAD and served as co-president of CSCA.

In 2009, Lai ventured to Hong Kong Polytechnic University to get a master’s in interaction design. He is currently working as a visiting assistant professor at the university.

CSCA is a professional organization that promotes a better understanding of the context and function of the visual arts in commerce, industry, education, and the community.
