CCAD Alumni featured in Columbus Arts Fest in Place
Artists and designers excel at making lemonade out of lemons. So with the COVID-19 pandemic still necessitating social distance measures, the Greater Columbus Arts Council did exactly that, canceling this year’s Columbus Arts Arts Festival on the Scioto Mile and instead presenting a sweet, virtual alternative: the Columbus Arts Fest in Place Friday, June 12–Sunday, June 14, 2020.
The online event features a browsable gallery of juried artists, online performances, a chalk art challenge, and local visual and performing artists at the Big Local Art Village. A dozen CCAD alumni have their artwork featured at this one-time, limited even. They include:
