CCAD Fashion Design student will show collection during Fashion Week Columbus

In the classroom at Columbus College of Art & Design, Tracy Powell (Fashion Design, 2019) created a romantic collection of women’s wear that made its debut in the 2019 CCAD Fashion Show.

Now, Powell has landed a spot on the runway during Fashion Week Columbus, running through Oct. 19, 2019. She is the first student designer to have a collection on the Fashion Week Columbus runway, and she's drawing attention from the press, including Spectrum News and WSYX.

Catch Powell’s collection during Fashion Week Columbus’ 10th Annual Finale Runway Show at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at National Veterans Memorial and Museum.

In October 2019, Powell also took her skills to HighBall 2019, the country’s most elaborate costume party. She was recently featured in a video about her work as a Battelle Costume Couture Fashion Show Designer for HighBall 2019. Watch her here.
