CCAD hits the mark, embraces the shark at 2018 Columbus Arts Festival

This year’s Columbus Arts Festival is set to go off swimmingly, thanks in part to contributions from Columbus College of Art & Design.
Alma Kim (Animation, 2020), a member of the CCAD Student Agency, designed the festival’s children’s T-shirts — an image of a trio of friendly sharks, inspired by the festival’s mascot, Art Shark.
“I was excited to have the Greater Columbus Arts Council choose my design for the shirts,” Kim said. “I can’t wait to see children wearing it.”
Beyond the shirts, CCAD’s presence will also be felt with kids’ tent activities and an informational booth about the college and its offerings. And as in years past, the CCAD Family is also well-represented among the artists and designers selling their works at the festival.
The juried festival, which runs Friday, June 8 – Sunday, June 10, includes work by the following CCAD alumni:
