Faculty, alumnus has solo exhibition in Columbus

"Let Them be Helpless" by Mariana Smith

Adjunct faculty and Fine Arts alumna Mariana Smith (CCAD 2002) has an exhibition at Hammond Harkins Galleries in Columbus, OH.

Her exhibition,  If only you'd let me finish my song- Would you let me finsih my song?, is inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky’s films Stalker and The Sacrifice. She explores the metaphors of landscape through miniature paintings, large works on paper, and video projections.

The exhibition runs Sept. 14–Oct. 14 with a reception Sept. 14, 5–8 p.m., and an artist's talk Sept. 19, 7 p.m.
