Introducing the 2018 CCAD Fashion Show student designers
Following a highly selective jury process earlier this month, a panel of expert judges have named the 15 student designers (14 Fashion Design seniors and one MFA candidate) whose collections have made the cut and will be featured in 2018’s CCAD Fashion Show at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on Friday, May 11.
From macramé to latex, hand-made prints to Givenchy black silk, a range of fabrics, inspirations, and insights come through in these exceptional collections, which the students have been developing for over a year. The inspirations behind each are as individual as each designer, too – there’s an adaptive childrenswear line for kids with disabilities and a collection of unisex garments inspired by androgynous insects.
