Pushing forward after May graduation, sculptor Evin Dubois (CCAD 2013) is now resident at the Contemporary Artists Center at Woodside in Troy, N.Y. Dubois arrived at the center in August, and the surroundings have allowed him to concentrate on a new body of work.

A native of Manchester, N.H., Dubois earned a BFA degree in Fine Arts. While in Columbus, he exhibited frequently and curated other projects in the area. Earlier this year, he attended the Society of North American Goldsmiths conference in Toronto.

Dubois earned a center fellowship to go into residence at Woodside as well as a grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council.

On its website, the Contemporary Arts Center says that for the past 20 years, artists have come to the retreat “to produce, explore, test new concepts and expand the current debates and ideas in today’s art and culture.”
