In the News: CCAD Fine Arts grad brings a ceramic cup show to Columbus

For Cat Sheridan’s (Fine Arts, 2003) first “cup show,” the Columbus ceramic artist recruited 39 artists from the United States and Canada to send in mugs, tea cups, whiskey cups, and other cups. These functional pieces are often considered to be a gateway drug to collecting ceramics, she explains. The resulting exhibition, Lip Body Foot: A Cup Shaped Thing, runs through Oct. 26 at Blockfort Downtown and garnered a feature in Columbus Alive.
