In the news: CCAD Illustration grad Paul Richmond in magazine feature

The September issue of a&u magazine highlighted paintings by Columbus College of Art & Design graduate Paul Richmond (Illustration, 2002), whose works feature “representational, figurative excellence combined with bold, wildly abstract brushstrokes, shapes, and colors.” Richmond, a 2019 winner CCAD Alumni Award for Excellence winner for Commitment to Service, discussed his paintings and the AIDS-related stories behind many of the works, saying, “I realize that is the magic of being an artist—taking something very personal and sharing it so that others can interpret and respond to in their own way.”
