In the news: Chelsea Funk’s adaptive clothing designs
For her senior collection at Columbus College of Art & Design, Chelsea Funk (Fashion Design, 2018) created adaptive clothing for children with disabilities. Such designs are especially personal for Funk, who was born with amniotic band syndrome (which means she was born without part of her left arm) and struggled to find fashionable, comfortable clothing.
