Caitlin Mulhall (Advertising & Graphic Design, 2016) and Matthew Robison (Interior Design, 2016) became friends at CCAD, moved to New York City together, and then discovered how difficult it would be to find an apartment with a limited budget. Funk (MFA, 2018), Amanda Finkel (MFA, 2018), Young-Mi Lee (MFA, 2018), Yae Reem Lee (MFA, 2019), and Hannah Watters (MFA, 2018) — along with graduate alumni Zane Miller (MFA, 2017) and Nate Gorgen (MFA, 2012) and two faculty advisors — Assistant Director of Graduate Studies and Assistant Professor Molly Jo Burke and Graduate Admissions Counselor and Adjunct Instructor John Cairns — participated in SOFA CONNECT at this year’s SOFA CHICAGO.
