All About Waiting, a music video by songwriter and composer Dhani Harrison has grabbed the attention of the likes of Rolling Stone magazine — and was directed and animated by former Illustration Assistant Professor Adam Osgood, with Anna D'Amico (Illustration, 2016) providing additional illustration and Sarah Schmidt (Animation, 2014) creating additional hand-drawn animation. Caitlin Mulhall (Advertising & Graphic Design, 2016) and Matthew Robison (Interior Design, 2016) became friends at CCAD, moved to New York City together, and then discovered how difficult it would be to find an apartment with a limited budget. Funk (MFA, 2018), Amanda Finkel (MFA, 2018), Young-Mi Lee (MFA, 2018), Yae Reem Lee (MFA, 2019), and Hannah Watters (MFA, 2018) — along with graduate alumni Zane Miller (MFA, 2017) and Nate Gorgen (MFA, 2012) and two faculty advisors — Assistant Director of Graduate Studies and Assistant Professor Molly Jo Burke and Graduate Admissions Counselor and Adjunct Instructor John Cairns — participated in SOFA CONNECT at this year’s SOFA CHICAGO.
