CCAD studies are seriously out of this world. Industrial Design students in the Design Innovation and Culture class are creating engaging physical and virtual experiences that bring life on Mars to life for people on Earth. The students plan to launch their project with an exhibition opening at CCAD in February 2018. Read more here.
The Columbus International Film & Animation Festival is the oldest film festival in the U.S. But the festival presented by Columbus College of Art & Design has a lot of new things coming in 2018, including Malt Adult animation screening curated by CCAD alum Sarah Schmidt (Animation, 2014). See work by Brittany Ann Campbell, Program Liaison for Fine Arts and History of Art & Visual Culture, as well as Adjunct Instructor for CORE Studio and Fine Arts, in the Fresh A.I.R. Gallery. Friday, Dec. 1, stop by Corrugate Studio Collective & Gallery from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. to experience Sensitive, a one-night exhibition of multi-sensory artworks. CCAD’s Fall 2017 Multi-Sensory Art Practice class will present works you can touch, hear, see, smell, and even taste. Read more here.
