CCAD MFA candidate Quinton Gleim was one of 24 winners from the international science fiction and fantasy contest L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future, which drew entries from more than 5,000 writers and artists from more than 170 countries. Craig Swoboda (Advertising & Graphic Design, 1994), Senior Creative Director - Packaging for Anheuser-Busch was the first internal partner to win the brewer’s Clydesdale Award, for exemplifying excellence for the Budweiser brand.
Two students from History of Art & Visual Culture were accepted into Dr. Jonathan B. Reiss Undergraduate Art History Colloquium. Amber Feit (2019) will deliver her research on The Fourth Plinth project, which exhibits the work of contemporary artists in Trafalgar Square in London, while Regina Zehner (2020) will discuss the system and structure of the white cube that has dominated the art world since the 1930s.
