Jill Paz (Master of Fine Arts, 2015) immigrated to North America a year after her birth, but the native of Manila, Philippines, kept her connection to her home country alive for years, making regular visits with family over the summer. Now Paz, who has returned to Manila after years living in the US and Canada, has work on view at Art Basel Hong Kong that pays homage to paintings by her great grand-uncle, the 19th-century painter Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo. The Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced that Sam Koh (Film & Video, 2020) and Janelle Moorman (Film & Video, 2020), both employees of the CCAD Student Agency, have been nominated for student Emmys. Read more here.
