Andrew Ina (Fine Arts, 2006) and Columbus College of Art & Design Cinematic Arts Assistant Professor Phil Garrett have received an Emmy nomination for their short documentary Dennison W. Griffith: Another World from The Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The film explores the final body of work of former CCAD President Denny Griffith. Garrett and Ina co-produced and co-directed the film, Garrett conceived of the film, and Ina also served as the cinematographer and primary editor.

The filmmakers worked closely with Griffith in filming a documentary over the span of a month leading up to the opening of Griffith's exhibition in January 2016 in the Beeler Gallery at CCAD. The exhibition was curated by former CCAD Beeler Gallery director Michael Goodson.

The film premiered to the public on the WOSU Public Media program Broad and High.

An animation sequence in the film was created by CCAD alumna Bekah Nunn (Animation, 2012). Sound designer and Cinematic Arts Adjunct Instructor Robin Gulcher of Magnetic Studios assisted with the sound mix.

The Ohio Valley Emmy nominations were announced on Tuesday June 6; awards will be presented in August 2017.
