With just a year under his belt in the production studio at Reebok, Andrew Thompson (CCAD 2013) created the brand-defining image for the 2014 CrossFit Games, an international competition that attracts the world’s top athletes each year.
Thompson started as an apprentice at Reebok after graduating from CCAD and is now a full-time employee working to create a wide variety of collateral including social media and print imagery and digital and video content.
“It’s pretty cool to be able to use my illustration style for a large company, especially one that I think is heading in a good direction,” said Thompson, an associate graphic designer for the international sports apparel company. “It was surreal seeing the poster on Reebok’s Facebook and Twitter.”
The poster, which displays a brawny contingent of athletes, took 50–60 hours to complete.
Thompson is from Indianapolis, IN, and attended Cardinal Ritter High School.
