Videos made by CCAD students win coveted CINDY Awards

Two promotional videos created by CCAD students recently won coveted CINDY Gold Awards in the public relations category.

In fall 2014 and spring 2015, 14 CCAD students worked with Cinematic Arts Chair Ron Saks to produce the short videos, AEP Energy: Business and AEP Energy: Residential.

Taylor Wilson, a 2015 Advertising & Graphic Design alum, was one of the students who worked on the pieces. She served as a producer and even ended up appearing in the videos.

“It was this really amazing opportunity,” Wilson said. “I got to have my hands directly on the product. And it really did make me more prepared for my postgrad experience with the agency that I work for.”

In addition to Wilson, the students who worked on the AEP videos were Jacob Augenstein, Philip “Jake” Bova, Tyler Dunbar, Sam Gerken, Joshua Hakim, Isabel Hickok, Andy McKenzie, Brant Moore, Hunter Preston, Kaleb Rice, Naomi Rossman, Samantha Russell and Andrew “Drew” Theiss.
