Artist Statement:

“If you don’t get sterilized, your house will be demolished and your cattle will be taken away!”
“What if I had a sibling?”
“Fewer and better births, a service to the nation!”
“How different my life could be?”
“Every Communist Party should be proud to be a model of family planning!”
In my work One, I am exploring the
relationship between my potential/
invisible sibling and me, and the connection and disconnection
among people.
