2022 Big Boo!

It’s time to put the finishing touches on your Halloween costume—Big Boo is lurking right around the corner! Don’t miss out on this annual tradition for CCAD students, which this year will happen Friday, Oct. 28, at the A&R Music Bar in the Arena District. 

Here’s what you need to know:  

WHO: Big Boo is open to any currently enrolled CCAD student. No outside guests please.
 

WHEN: 7–10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 (doors open at 6:30 p.m.)
 

WHERE: A&R Music Bar, 391 Neil Ave. in Columbus
 

EVENT ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Tickets ($5 when purchased in advance; $10 at the door)
• CCAD ID
• Driver's license (for those who are 21+ who plan to purchase alcohol)

TRANSPORTATION: CCAD will provide a shuttle from campus to the A&R Music Bar, as well as will provide a return trip after the event ends. More details will come via email the week of Big Boo. 
 

COSTUME CONTEST: Want to strut your stuff at the costume contest? You’ll get details on how to enter when you arrive at the venue. We’ll have first, second, and third place prizes, with judges evaluating submissions based on creativity, craft, and overall originality.  
 

WHAT TO EXPECT: There will be a DJ, costume contest, pizza for self-purchase from the venue, and drinks for self-purchase from the bar. You must be 21 or older to purchase alcoholic beverages. 
 

TICKETS:

• Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door and can be purchased with cash or check (made out to CCAD) only. 
• Ticket sales will start Monday, Oct. 24. Stop by the cement desk at the entrance of Crane Center to secure your ticket. Sales will be open daily from 11 a.m. to noon. Please note: Sales are limited to one ticket per student, and you must show your student ID to purchase a ticket.
