2023 Big Boo!

It’s time to put the finishing touches on your Halloween costume—Big Boo is lurking right around the corner! Don’t miss out on this annual tradition for CCAD students, which this year will happen Saturday, Oct. 28, at the A&R Music Bar in the Arena District. 

Here’s what you need to know:  

WHO: Big Boo is open to any currently enrolled CCAD student. No outside guests please.
 

WHEN: 7–10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. (Shuttles from CCAD available at 6:15 and 6:30 p.m.; return shuttles from A&R Bar will leave at 10:10 p.m.)

WHERE: A&R Music Bar, 391 Neil Ave., Columbus

EVENT ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Tickets ($5 in advance; $10 at the door)
• CCAD ID
• Driver's license (for those who are 21+ who plan to purchase alcohol)

TRANSPORTATION: CCAD will provide a shuttle from campus to the A&R Music Bar, as well as will provide a return trip after the event ends. More details will come via email the week of Big Boo. 

COSTUME CONTEST: Want to strut your stuff at the costume contest? Arrive before 8 p.m. to sign up to compete! We’ll have first-, second-, and third-place prizes for best individual and group costume, with judges evaluating submissions based on creativity, craft, and overall originality.  

WHAT TO EXPECT: There will be a DJ, a costume contest, and amazing drag performance, as well as pizza and beverages for sale. You must be 21 or older to purchase alcoholic beverages. 

TICKETS:

• Tickets are $5 in advance and can be purchased using cash or cards Monday, Oct. 23–Friday, Oct. 27,at Ampersand Emporium. Tickets will also be available at the door for $10, cash only.
• Sales are limited to one ticket per student. You must show your student ID to purchase a ticket. 

Due to the venue capacity, and to ensure that every CCAD student who wants to attend Big Boo 2023! is able to do so, no outside guests are permitted.
