Join us in Beeler Gallery for a conversation with Tamara Gonzales, whose work is featured in Bianca Beck, Tamara Gonzales, Christina Forrer on display in Beeler Gallery through Nov. 6, and Ingrid Bromberg Kennedy.

Tamara Gonzales was born in Madera, California and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Her work has been written about in The New Yorker, The Brooklyn Rail, and ArtNews. Recently her work was shown at The Pit in Los Angeles, Venus Over Manhattan in New York (curated by Peter and Sally Saul), the New York Studio School, and the High Museum of Art, Atlanta. Public collections containing her work include the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, Georgia, the Bronx Museum of Art, and Bowdoin College and Colby College museums of Art, Maine.

Ingrid Bromberg Kennedy is the co-owner and co-director of Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery in New York City. Kennedy began her career as a artist concerned with issues of identity and gender while working as a graphic designer for a small design firm in lower Manhattan and then as the designer at Artforum. Kennedy received a BFA in art from Carnegie Mellon University in 1992 and an MFA from CalArts in 1996. In 2004 Kennedy started Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery with Rob Hult and Sam Wilson as an artist run project space in Brooklyn. Now located in downtown Manhattan, the gallery grew significantly, representing 22 artists from the US and Europe. Each year the gallery hosts around a dozen exhibitions a year as well as participating in two or three art fairs.
