Big Boo 2024!

It’s time to put the finishing touches on your Halloween costume—Big Boo is lurking right around the corner! Don’t miss out on this annual tradition for CCAD students, which this year will happen Friday, Oct. 25, at Columbus State Community College’s Mitchell Hall. 

Here’s what you need to know:  

WHO: Big Boo is open to any currently enrolled CCAD student. No outside guests please.
 

WHEN: 7–10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25. (Columbus State Community College, Mitchell Hall is within walking distance to campus.)

WHERE:   Mitchell Hall | Columbus State Community College

EVENT ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Tickets ($5 in advance; $10 at the door)
• CCAD ID

COSTUME CONTEST: Want to strut your stuff at the costume contest? Arrive before 8 p.m. to sign up to compete! We’ll have first-, second-, and third-place prizes for best individual and group costume, with judges evaluating submissions based on creativity, craft, and overall originality.  

WHAT TO EXPECT: There will be a DJ, a costume contest, and amazing drag performance, as well as pizza and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. 

TICKETS:

• Tickets are $5 in advance and can be purchased using cash or cards Monday, Oct. 21–Friday, Oct. 25 at Ampersand Emporium. Tickets will also be available at the door for $10, cash only.
• Sales are limited to one ticket per student. You must show your student ID to purchase a ticket. 

Due to the venue capacity, and to ensure that every CCAD student who wants to attend Big Boo 2024! is able to do so, no outside guests are permitted.
