The Clothesline Project | UOKCCAD Week 2019

Sunday, April 7–Friday, April 12
Location

Crane Center Lobby
United States

The Clothesline Project is a visual display of shirts with messages and illustrations that have been designed by survivors of sexual or gender-based violence or by someone who loves a survivor or loves a person who was killed by this kind of violence.  The purpose of the CCAD’s Project is to increase awareness of the impact of sexual, relationship, or domestic violence and abuse, to celebrate a survivors’ strength, and to provide another avenue to courageously break the silence that often surrounds their experience.  CCAD Students are welcomed to stop by to grab a cookie and engaged with the clothesline project.
