Description: In the Tarot, we begin with the Fool, a card that signifies beginnings. Each of us is represented by The Fool as we begin our journey in life. The Fool is newborn, fresh and with arms open to the world. The Fool has the faith to undertake a journey that is new, unknown, and full of risk and possibility.

For many of us, stepping away from the worldviews of our families means beginning a journey unlike any journey we have experienced before. Family values inform everything from identity development to cultural perceptions to beliefs about the self. Moving away from family values means stepping forward into the unknown, to go forth with the desire to learn. Though this journey can entail changing relationships, feelings of loneliness, and perhaps even conflict, defining your own values means liberation for many. The Fool’s Journey is a therapeutic group for those individuals looking for support as they step forward on this path of self-exploration. Together we will process how walking this journey has been, and share with each other our experiences of defining our own identities and values beyond our familial cultures.
