Spike Trotman talk with CXC Artistic Director Jeff Smith

Cartoon Crossroads Columbus (CXC), a free four-day comics, art, and animation festival will take place virtually this year from Oct. 1-4. CCAD is pleased to sponsor a talk with Spike Trotman, founder of Iron Circus Comics. Trotman and CXC Artistic Director Jeff Smith will discuss how the comics publishing landscape has changed in the past decade. Students and beginning creators will get some road-tested and passion-laden advice from Trotman as she explains the role Kickstarter has played in her publishing ventures and why we should make the comics and graphic novels that nobody asked for.
