A Walk for Hope
CCAD's Counseling & Wellness Center, along with the Student Engagement & Inclusion Office, are hosting a community Walk for Hope aimed at raising awareness about suicide and creating moments of connection for anyone who has been impacted by it. The group walk will take place on Friday, March 31, at 3 p.m. The group walk will begin underneath the Art Sign and together, participants will travel around the campus block. We will proceed, rain or shine, so come dressed for the weather!
The walk will conclude on the Quad where participants will have a variety of activities with which to engage, including light refreshments, decompression space in the CWC, educational information from the counseling staff, and a creative activity. We hope you will join us in raising awareness about this critical social issue. For questions, please email [email protected]. No registration required.
If you or someone you know is having thoughts of suicide, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by dialing 988.
