Dr. Wendy L. Chrisman has taught in English since 1997. Her research interests include rhetorical, cultural, and disability studies, medical humanities and mental health narratives, and animal and environmental advocacy. Chrisman earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida (1996) and her Masters of Arts and Doctorate of Philosophy from The Ohio State University (2000, 2008). She has been an adjunct faculty member of the Writing, Literature, & Philosophy Department at Columbus College of Art & Design since 2007. She has taught such classes as Art of Persuasion and Readings in American Literature, and currently teaches Writing and the Arts and Professional Writing. Her publications and collaborations have appeared in Kairos, Prose Studies, Disability Studies Quarterly, Lore: The Stairwell and Radical Relevance.
