Celeste Malvar-Stewart has worked as an independent sustainable fashion and textiles designer for over 25 years.
She has had various national and international publications, exhibitions, and runway shows, and is a featured artist with Columbus Makes Art.
Most recently, she moved to Columbus from NYC and works out of her German Village studio, creating couture and ready-to-wear pieces under her label
MALVAR = STEWART. In her quest for designing sustainable and ethical pieces, she works with local fibre farmers, using their sheep wool and alpaca fibres to create the textiles that she incorporates in her fashion and interiorwear (and she knows every animal whose fibre she uses by name!).
