Cheryl Steele teaches draping, beginning pattern, and fashion history. A designer of children’s wear, millenary, and wedding apparel, Steele has contracted with the Limited, Cheryl and Co., Andrews Jewelry, Elder-Beerman, A Proper Garden, and others. She was a visual merchandise manager for Macy’s and Lazarus, where she led business and trend forecasting and developed visual and merchandising sets for new stores, remodels, and prototypes. Steele’s teaching experience involves development of interactive history and art programs for local schools. AAS in fashion design, children’s wear and millenary, Fashion Institute of Technology, 1980; BS in clothing and textiles, Ohio State University, 1981.
