Curtis Benzle was the Chair of Dimensional Studies at CCAD from 2001 to 2007. He is the owner of Applied Arts and the Benzel Porcelain Company in Hilliard, Ohio and is the current president of the Alabama Craft Council. Benzel has received grants and fellowships from Xerox, the Ohio Arts Council, the Greater Columbus Arts Council, the Alabama State Council on the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
