Greg Thune studied Engineering and Industrial Design at Auburn University did post-grad studies in Marketing at Franklin University and has worked in consulting and corporate design since 1988. Developing specialties in sketching, problem-solving, project management, plastic injection molding, plastic rotation molding, plastic thermoforming, glass molding, rendering and animation, mechanical design, manufacturability, process and controls. His professional work has focused on medical, consumer, and industrial products. Greg Thune earned his Bachelors of Industrial Design (BID) from Auburn University and his Masters of Science in Marketing and Communications (MSMC) from Franklin University.

Greg Thune has been a Chair of Industrial Design at Columbus College of Art & Design since 2013 and has taught such classes as CAD, Materials and assembly, and the Junior and Senior studios. Greg Thune’s professional recognition includes 9 patents, clients such as GE, IBM, Newell Rubbermaid, Anchor Hocking, Altec Lansing, GM, Sabic, Fitch, Bio-Rad, Becton Dickinson, Johnson and Johnson, and has been published in ID magazine.
