Irmak Ertuna Howison moved to Columbus from Istanbul, Turkey. She teaches writing and introduction to philosophy in CCAD. Her research interests include feminist crime fiction, science fiction, and literary criticism. She recently co-authored a humorous book on Jane Austen in Turkish (Dogan Egmont, March 2017). She is currently co-editing a collection on eco-criticism in Turkish literature and co-authoring a book on Frankenstein in honor of its 200th anniversary.
